1) Aloe Vera

It can greatly reduce the pain and swelling caused due to sunburn. The anti inflammatory properties of Aloe Vera can reduce the inflammation of the skin. Extract the gel from the leaf of Aloe Vera and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Apply this gel on the sunburned sin and let it dry. Do this for a week and apply several times in a day to get good results.

2) Apple Cider Vinegar

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar can be effective against inflammation. It has healing power that can greatly reduce the pain and can also make the skin healthy. In lukewarm water add a cup of acid cedar vinegar and take a bath from it. Also, applying the mixture of cold water and acid cedar vinegar can heal the scars of sunburn. This is also helpful in maintaining the pH of affected skin and stimulating the healing process.

3) Milk

Use of milk is one of the sunburn remedies. In four cups of water add one cup of milk and few ice cubes. Taking a clean piece of cloth and place this mixture on the burnt skin. The ice in the mixture can reduce the swelling by constricting the blood vessels and limiting the excessive flow towards the skin.

4) Honey

It is one of the home remedies for sunburn. It has many benefits as it acts as an antibiotic naturally. It keeps the skin moisturized and healthy. The enzymes present in it can heal the skin, reduce swelling and inflammation and reduce the pain. Simply apply honey on the infected area and let it dry. After that, wash those parts with clean water. Taking one table spoon of honey with lukewarm water can be effective.

5) Potatoes

One of the sunburn remedies is the use of potatoes. The starches present in potato can reduce the swelling. Peel a potato and make paste. Apply this paste on the sun burnt area and let it dry. Wash with cold water and apply this twice or thrice a day.

6) Yogurt

It has the ability to recover and heal the skin so it can be one of the sunburn remedies. Apply plain yogurt on the infected area and let it dry. Use it 3 or 4 times a day so that sin is properly healed. The probiotics in it can reduce inflammation and pain.

10) Baking soda

The alkaline nature of this can reduce sunburn marks. Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply on the affected area. Leave for 10 minutes and then wash the areas.
